Day 10

Posted on 25 March 2020

Tuesday 24th March

I promised myself a lovely relaxing day today and that’s exactly what I’ve done! With the UK now on lockdown too and Spain’s quarantine extended until 11th April with borders closed to all but returning Spanish nationals and residents beside a few other exceptions, I realised I have so far done very little in the way of just chilling out.

I did my online workout class this morning and can confirm that bottles of water do indeed make much better dumbbells than milk cartons.

I did some catching up with friends on Facetime and Skype, and recorded a totally bonkers spontaneous birthday greeting using the Skype recording feature. I had a glass of wine and ate too much chocolate.

I also spent a large part of the day vegetating on the sofa re-watching a television series that I don’t think I’ve seen for at least a month!

So in the absence of any profound thoughts or entertaining anecdotes, I shall leave you with this wonderfully chaotic quarantine workout suggestion from Michelle Gomez, which I’m still laughing at!
